July Monthly Reading Wrap-Up
Toddler Books My Daughter Loved at 15 months old
If you are new here, hi! This is my toddler's monthly reading wrap-up where I go over her top picks for the month.
Language development is something I really enjoy as a mom. I’ve always been an avid reader so I love sharing my love of books with my little one.

With so many options out there I know it can be hard to pick books, that’s why I love sharing my toddler's reading journey with other moms.
During our visit to family in Michigan, we had access to our wonderful local library and read over 20 new books. Here are the ones we loved the most and purchased or will purchase as holiday gifts.
1. Good Night, Numbers
Good Night, Numbers is a delightful bedtime book that combines soothing illustrations with simple, engaging text. Each page counts down from ten to one, providing a calming and educational way to wind down for the night. My toddler loves pointing to the numbers and objects on each page, making it a perfect blend of learning and bedtime routine.

2. Inside Cat
Inside Cat was super fun to read, and the ending was just wow! This charming story captures the curiosity and imagination of an indoor feline. The vibrant illustrations and playful text make this book a joy to read. My little one adores following the cat's adventures and pointing out the various scenes and characters. It's great for sparking discussions about pets and their view of the world, and also a more philosophical discussion about our own world and how it shapes our perspective.

3. Moon
Moon is a beautifully illustrated book that takes readers on a journey through different moonlit scenes. From serene landscapes to bustling nocturnal animals, this book captivates with its dreamy artwork and lyrical text. My toddler enjoys the calming effect of the moonlit imagery and the rhythmic flow of the story, making it a favorite for quiet reading times. It covers all the moon phases, which is great because Emi started noticing how the moon looks different in various books.

4. Who’s Behind There?
If your little one loves flaps, this book will be a hit! Who’s Behind There? is an interactive lift-the-flap book that keeps my toddler engaged and curious. Each page features a hidden animal or object, prompting little ones to lift the flaps and discover what's behind. The element of surprise and the adorable illustrations make this book a hit during playtime and storytime alike.

5. Colors
Colors is a vibrant and educational book that introduces toddlers to a rainbow of hues. Each page is dedicated to a different color, with bright and bold illustrations that capture the essence of each shade. My toddler loves naming the colors and identifying objects, making it a fun and interactive way to learn about the world of colors. I regret not ordering it before leaving because it had realistic images and featured Emi’s favorite things right now: frogs and raspberries. It will most likely be a holiday present if we think she will still be interested in it.

Hope your little one enjoys these books as much as my Emi.
Happy reading!
