Week 2: Rainy Day Fun 🌧️

These activities will help your toddler observe, explore, and connect with nature as spring unfolds.

💦 Day 8: Puddle Jumping – If it’s raining, throw on those rain boots and jump in some puddles! No rain? No problem! Create a pretend puddle with blue paper and let your toddler hop away.

🌈 Day 9: Rainbow Sorting – Gather colorful toys or household objects and sort them into a rainbow. A fun way to practice colors!

Day 10: Cotton Ball Clouds – Glue cotton balls onto blue paper to make soft, fluffy cloud art.

🎶 Day 11: Raindrop Music – Make a DIY rainstick by filling an empty bottle with rice and shaking it to mimic the sound of falling rain.

📚 Day 12: Rainy Day Story Time – Snuggle up with a cozy book about rain and springtime. Hello, Rain by Kyo Maclear is a great pick!

🌧️ Day 13: Watercolor Rain Art – Drop watercolors onto paper, then tilt it to let the colors run like raindrops. A fun way to explore color mixing!

Day 14: Umbrella Play – If you are not superstitious, open an umbrella indoors (supervised, of course!) and decorate it with stickers or drawings. Once it’s ready, take your creation outdoors for extra fun!
