Soaking Up Every Moment with My Child
Hi mama,
Life can feel like a whirlwind sometimes, can’t it? Between taking care of our little ones, work, house chores, and everything else on our to-do list, it's so easy to get caught up in what's next. Whenever I find myself drifting, thinking of that email I need to send or the dishes in the sink, I look at my little one and remind myself of something so simple, yet so powerful—this moment with her is a gift.
The attention and love I pour into my daughter now will help shape who she becomes. How amazing is that?!
And I know years from now, I’ll look back and wish I could spend another day with this adorable, curious version of her. So, I clear my head and allow myself to savor every little discovery and every giggle.
Let’s try our best to soak up these moments—because they’re fleeting, and they’re precious.
In joyful motherhood,
Liz

EAT: Emi is more open to eating eggs, so I want to try more egg-based recipes I can batch create and have ready to go, like these Veggie-Loaded Mini Frittatas.
Ingredients: Eggs, spinach, bell peppers, cheese, and diced tomatoes
How to make it: Whisk eggs and mix in finely chopped veggies and cheese. Pour the mixture into a muffin tin and bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 15 minutes until set. These mini frittatas are easy to hold and packed with nutrients.
Why it’s great: It’s a protein-rich meal, loaded with veggies and easy to customize with your toddler's favorite ingredients.
💡 Want to make this recipe even easier? Try these silicone molds, they are non-stick and BPA-free!
CRAFT: Remember last week’s little acorns? Well, why stop there? I found this free crochet pattern for adorable little mushrooms. I mean, think about the sensory setups we can put together with these!!!! 😍 And if you are new I recommend these crochet hooks, I got them five years ago and still love them.
READ: I don’t have time to sift through the news—I just want a quick, unbiased recap to stay informed. Thanks to the 1440 newsletter, I can catch up on the news while my coffee’s still hot.

MOVEMENT: Have fun by pretending to be different animals! You can hop like a frog, waddle like a penguin, or slither like a snake. This engages gross motor skills and sparks their imagination. This book is great for making the activity more interactive.
SENSORY: Tools are essential for sensory play because they give your little one the chance to practice important skills. Having items that let them scoop, transfer, and explore makes all the difference. This set is great to get started!
MUSIC: The "Row, Row, Row Your Boat" remix you didn’t know you needed! Speech therapist Melissa gives this classic a fun twist to boost language learning. Check it out here.
LANGUAGE: Last month, we discovered some incredible new books. Here’s our reading roundup with Emi’s favorites!
NATURE: I am obsessed with these little wooden animals. They are perfect to take on a walk and get creative with different materials you find along the way. They are also great for promoting fine motor skills and creativity!
