Hi mama,
This past week has been an absolute blast! From getting creative with indoor activities to connecting with all of you amazing mamas in our new Facebook group, and hearing Emi sing "Navidad, Navidad.” My heart feels so full of joy.
Here’s a quick reminder of all the exciting things happening in our community this month:
📅 30-Day Cozy Activity Challenge: This is week two of our challenge and over the next few weeks, I’ll be sharing more simple indoor activities to keep our little ones entertained and learning. Don’t forget to follow along with this activity calendar.
❄️ 12 Days of Free Printables: In our Facebook group, I’m sharing a free activity printable every day until December 12. We started with an advent calendar, and I even shared a Winter-Themed Sensory Play Bundle! Today’s surprise is something you won’t want to miss. Join the group!

Week 2: Indoor Activity Challenge
Week two of our challenge, here we go!
Scavenger Hunt
You know I love a good scavenger hunt! Holiday-themed? Yes, please! This activity is super easy to put together. Just create a list of festive items for your little ones to find—like a red ornament, a candy cane, or a jingle bell. It’s a great way to practice observation skills while having fun! You can find our winter scavenger hunt here.
Holiday Bingo
The old lady that lives in me LOVES a good bingo game, but this is also a fantastic activity for toddlers. It strengthens matching and cognitive skills, improves attention to detail, and supports social skills like taking turns. I’ll share a bingo printable in the Facebook group later today, so make sure you join!
Tree Decorating
Does Emi have a little tree that she decorates every single day? Yes, she does. Not only is this activity ADORABLE, but it also helps develop fine motor skills through hanging ornaments and encourages creativity.
Holiday Finger Puppets
These make for fantastic imaginative play and storytime props. Beyond being a fun craft, it’s also a wonderful opportunity for language development.
Create Holiday Cards
You can check “buy holiday cards” off your to-do list and enjoy a fun afternoon with your little one. Gather some paper, crayons, and stickers, and let your child design heartfelt holiday cards for family and friends.
Ice Sensory Play
Fill a tray with ice cubes and add a touch of holiday magic by including small figurines, orange slices, cinnamon sticks, or other festive items. Little ones will love exploring the chilly textures and watching the ice melt.
Playdough Holiday Cookies
Set up a pretend baking station with holiday-themed cookie cutters and playdough. Encourage your little chef to create their own festive “cookies” and decorate them with colorful playdough sprinkles.
And remember, I’ll be sharing printables to complement these activities in our new Facebook group.
Let’s Talk Joyful Motherhood
I was so happy to see that everyone who participated in the poll last week is interested in Joyful Motherhood content. So, it’s official: there will be one Joyful Motherhood email every month!
I’ll be rolling out this content in January (these printables are keeping me busy, y’all!). In the meantime, I’d love to know which aspects of Joyful Motherhood you’re most interested in so I can plan the content accordingly.
